This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Justin Ryan Samples, who was born in Corbin, Kentucky on June 02, 1987 and passed away on May 26, 2008 at the age of 20, just one week before his 21st birthday. We will  love and remember him forever..

I don't know where to begin...... it is so hard to even comprehend, I can't believe my baby is gone..

Justin is 4yrs and 4 months younger than Josh.  His nicknames are "Galooby" or "Boobie" and Josh's are "Wore".  I know these are strange, they just happened to stick.

We are a family business, Mink's Landscape Contractors, the kids grew up at Mink's Nursery, and as the business grew, both boys jumped in to help, Justin is the equipment operator, he has always been able to run almost anything, his first words were "Diddle, Diddle", he loved all things that went. 

As a small child, Justin began racing motocross, winning a 5' trophy at 5 years old, he loved riding bicycles, raced BMX for a while, loved going to Finley's Skating Rink, and skateboarding.  All of his toys, got accessorized, with rims, wheels, handle bars, you name it, he made everything unique to him.

Justin graduated from South Laurel High School in 2006.  And began immediately helping in our business.  What a great Asset!!!

Justin has many friends and we have so many great memories through the years of all the kids hanging out at our house, up by the pool, just having fun.  Justin always made everyone smile, he was such a happy person who lived life to the fullest!!

Last fall, Justin started dating Charlee Stivers again, they had dated off and on since 8th grade, at the first of the year, I could tell such a difference in Justin, he was so in love!!  The first part of May, he had "cut out" their houseseat, they had picked out their house plan. 

They have 3 dogs, the newest addition is Diesel, Justin's baby, he is a Boxer/Rottweiler mix, Tater, a Boston Terrier, and Roo, a husky. 

Justin was such a strong, loving young man.  He loved his family and we were so fortunate to be so close.  I thank God every day for blessing me with my boys.
